Things to Consider Before Becoming a Surrogate
Earthly Angels always
want you to have a comfortable and healthy surrogacy experience. Do you want to
be a gestational surrogate mother? Keep these things in mind before embarking
on Earthly
Angels Surrogacy. Sharron Wooten highlighted some elements
that may influence your surrogacy journey qualifications.
o Details
of Recent Birth: Many women love being pregnant so much that they apply
to be a surrogate soon after giving birth to their kid, in our experience.
Clinic physicians, on the other hand, require that a woman wait at least 6
months after giving birth before undergoing an embryo transfer. We admire how
eager ladies are to become surrogates immediately after giving birth, but we
advise you to wait a few months before starting the procedure.
o Breast
Feeding Experience: Many mothers choose to breastfeed their infants for
as long as they are able. It's vital to remember, though, that once a woman has
finished nursing, she must have at least two menstrual cycles before the
testing visit. We are happy to work with a surrogate who is presently nursing
their kid, but please keep this timeline in mind.
o A
Record of Body Mass Index and Age: To be a surrogate, a woman must have
a specified body mass index (BMI) and be in a specified age range, according to
fertility center physicians. (You must be between the ages of 21 and 40 and
have a BMI of 33 or less.) There's good news if your BMI isn't currently inside
the recommended range. Your BMI is one of the easiest things you can modify as
a possible surrogate candidate. You can re-submit the prescreen application at
any time, and we'll gladly consider you as a surrogate in the future.
o Anxiety
and Depression Meditation Record: While a record of anti-anxiety
medication does not necessarily exclude you as a surrogate, fertility clinic
physicians require all surrogates to be off of any anti-anxiety/anti-depressant
medication for at least 6 months before their trip. Following the 6-month
waiting period, you must receive a letter from your doctor detailing the
medicine dose, the purpose for taking the medicine, the length of time you've
been off the prescription, and so on. We will proceed to process you as a
surrogate after acquiring a letter of medical clearance for
anti-anxiety/anti-depressant medication.
If you are
considering being a surrogate, you will want to make sure you're ready.

is a great but long journey that will take you on an emotional rollercoaster,
and you won't know where it'll take you and your family until you get there.

friend, or family member will be important throughout your surrogacy journey —
these individuals are frequently the hidden heroes of surrogacy. We'd love to
